The Parish of Cowbridge, strictly a Rectorial Benefice, is centred on Cowbridge, a small market town in the beautiful and rural Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, about 13 miles west of Cardiff on the principal non-motorway route (A48) between Cardiff and Swansea.
Christians have been celebrating the Good News in Cowbridge and the surrounds for hundreds of years. The parish logo shows a river, a bridge and a cross. The river is the Thaw (Afon Ddaw) which runs through most of the parish, the bridge is a reminder of Cowbridge (or Y Bont Faen - "The Stone Bridge", in Welsh) and of the Church's role as a minister of reconciliation. The cross reminds us both of the Lord Jesus Christ and the dedication of the Parish Church to the Holy Cross.
The Parish has ten churches, whose locations can be viewed on a map by clicking the button “CHURCHES”.
Times of services, the weekly diary, notices and other news is available by clicking the button “PEWS NEWS”.
